The Steps to Get to The Goal
The most important first step is to ASK QUESTIONS if you are unsure or unclear as to what your team should be doing. Do not sit idly by and wait for me to come to you, be proactive and find me if you need help!
The second step is to Imagine:
What would your team like your project to look like?
What tool or tools will you need to get there?
The third step is to Plan:
Who is going to research each state?
What type of presentation tool will your team use?
Who is going to begin the presentation?
Who is going to keep the group on track?
Remember, you are all part of a team and you team cannot succeed without you!
The fourth step it to Execute your Plan:
Complete the research.
Find and agree on at least 5 sources to be used on the project.
Choose your presentation tool.
The fifth step is to Create:
Assemble your team's information.
Choose who will type and who will assemble the presentation.
Choose who will edit and ensure the content is correct. Proofread your work!
Finish the presentation draft.
The sixth step is Evaluate and Improve:
Evaluate yourselves using the rubrics on the Assessment page
Decide if there are portions of your presentation or research that need to be improved.
Change and turn-in your Final Product.
The last step is to Present:
Your group will all present your project in front of all of my 6th Grade science classes in the auditorium. Remember that all group member must take part in the presentation.
